I have worn so many different brands of boots but this is the best and most comfortable boots i know of.Its my everyday boot and i use them on hunting trips and they are simply amazing. Will not change to any other brand.Sending it for re-soling after 3 years and for the price of pickup, re-soling and drop off its a really good price.

Excellent boot for wearing on an irrigation farm and I also hunt in them as they are very warm.
This also leads to the only downside – they are TOO hot for wearing in summer. I once contacted JIM GREEN to ask if they could make me a pair without the waterproofing liner, but the additional cost they quoted was just too much.
I actually think they are missing a trick here – that shoe will definitely complement the current range and will lead to inceeased sales.

I bought my pair in 2005 and the first time I wore them was day one of the Outeniqua Hiking Trail… Never got blisters and have put thousands of kilometers on my boots since then. I resoled them with Jim Green in 2018 and they were as good as new after that. I walk any terrain and through the water with mine and with some love and tender care of the leather there will still be thousands of kilometers left in them. Best investment ever made for hiking boots.

Purchased these almost a decade ago, and used them intermittently for hiking. When a metal eyelet pulled out of the moderately used boots, I contacted Jim Green to enquire about a repair. They promptly sent a courier to collect them for assessment, and explained my Monster boots are so old they, apparently, pre-date the current ownership of the company. Hence they would only repair rather than replace them, for free. The perfectly repaired boots were return couriered to me, all their expense.
This is the astounding commitment to customer service I associate with Jim Green.

Bought 2 pairs in 2012 and had them customized with steel toe cap inserts for site work.
[...]They provided stellar work and leisure service for 8 years of daily use in East Africa and Indonesia.
Only negative is that the steel eyelets rusted but it seems the new version have brass eyelets?
About to visit the factory to order another two pairs!
