- Manufactured with a single layer of 2.2mm full grain leather.
- The traditional Vellie – South Africa’s most loved shoe.
- Insole board is secured to the upper with a double-stitched 2.2mm braided nylon cord.
- Sole is made from a natural genuine rubber compound and is supported with a steel shank.
- This boot can be resoled.
- STC last – This last has a 2E wide fit and offers a roomy and rounded toe box.
- Sole: BR (This sole is our all-rounder option and is designed for durability in an urban and outdoor combination).

From a value perspective, these shoes are hard to beat. Top quality materials used and lots of thought put into certain features. Everything from the counter cover (leather) to the shoelace grommets (steel) to the steel shank in the sole, this shoe has got it covered.
The toe box is also nice and wide and will cater to many types of feet. Toes don’t feel squashed in these.
These take a while to break in as the shank and sole settle but once they are moving it’s very comfortable.
The inner sole is basic (at best) and recommendation would be to get your own insole to get the arch support and comfort you need.
For the price, this shoe is almost unbeatable.
